1000 Center

The 1000 Dunam Plan is a new site development on 450 acres in the South of Rishon Le’Zion. The site will include office buildings, commercial projects, residential projects, high education facilities, students accommodations, culture and entertainment. The project is part of the city’s plan to increase the employment scope in the city and draw big companies to the area.

The plan will include 1.7 Million sqm for business center, one of the largest in Israel, 5,000 dwelling units, commercial centers and open public areas. MEC is managing the project in all aspects of Zoning design and approval, infrastructure design, RFP and construction. Two leading foreign companies are involved in the urban and engineering design, especially in the sustainability and renewal issues, Arup from GB and Bechtel from USA.
